I have enjoyed and have had the privilege to fish for trout in the Driftless area of NE Iowa with my great friend, Brad Anderson, for the past 50+ years. Over our time together, we've learned a lot, and, in more recent years, have found that fly-fishing for these beautiful rainbow, brown, and brook trout is the best way to catch and release bunches of trout. Certainly, we still have those days when the trout gods will confound
us, but we generally have pretty good luck. As much fun as it is catching these trout, that is simply icing on an already fantastic cake. By far, the best part of the day fishing with Brad is his company. It is always a great time to spend the day with him on the river. To add to that, these streams flow through the most beautiful hills, valleys and bluffs that our Driftless area has to offer. Honestly, it just doesn't get any better than
